• Coordinated storage permission in Dar Es Salaam port during discharge, clearing & loading.
• Oversaw safe storage ensuring safety and integratity of all packaging and zero damage to cargo throughout adverse weather conditions.
• Arranged all GCLA permits and escorts for transport, ensuring all required signage and PPE and spill kits on all trucks/trailers.
• Hazard training and safety briefings for all handlers and forklift operators .
• Training and oversight of all loading to ensure packaging integrity, safety, correct weight distribution across axels to prevent overweight axel charges and correct sealing of cargo.
• 24 hour cargo tracking for volatile cargo.
• Border planning and coordination of smooth crossing and rechecking of all lashing and tarpaulin.
