Project Logistics
With over 30 years combined experience in Tanzania and East Africa, we specialize in knowing the right questions to ask. Remote locations, extraordinary cargo, and challenging conditions necessitate a thorough examination of multimodal transport options and in depth planning of auxiliary requirements, for which we can call on an extensive network of trusted partners across the region.
Our role as your project partner is to proactively identify any areas that could cause issues or delays and to resolve them in advance, ensuring that your project is completed on time and on budget.
Clearing
Our clearance work includes imports and exports through all ports and border posts, as well as all cargo including standard cargo, perishable goods, live cargo, chemicals/hazardous/dangerous goods and OOG cargo.
We average 4 days clearing time from the date of discharge. Accurate budgeting and planning, pre-clearance, and effective KPI monitoring eliminate surprises and delays.
Transport
Trident retains an extensive transport supplier base across East Africa, maintaining control without limiting truck availability.
QHSE audits and integrated Policies and SOPs ensure the highest standards.
Review of supplier packaging, loading policies, driving SOPs, all overseen by our dedicated Transport Management Team drive at getting your cargo to site safely.
Warehousing
Trident has warehouse facilities in Dar Es Salaam which are available for lease on a whole or sqm flexible basis. Container storage facilities can be provided along all major and strategic routes in East Africa acting as consolidation points or flexible laydown yards and warehouses.
All facilities include management, security, specialised teams, offices, dry & liquid bulk storage and are fully licenced to store all general goods, food, toxic and hazardous goods.
